Some of these guests are SO fin boring. Trying to be funny, etc etc. I listened to the Sarah S. one ad it was so-so. I wish howard would say FUCK the guests for a few weeks and just bullshit. Guests are a waste of time IMO

Canada Eh!
I think it all really depends if you're a fan of the guest or not. Although, I don't mind guests but they all can't be home runs.

Depends who the guest is I guess. I listen to most of them , not all. Frequent guest interviews are a definite FFWD.

I tend to skip the guests. For the reasons listed above. I much prefer it when its just the crew BS'ing and making fun of each other.

A lot of the interviews have been a bit of a tough listen lately. I'm not sure why. It seems as if many of them are rushed, and the plugs seem too deliberate. We all know they are there to plug something...but it seems that now more than ever, Howard hits you over the head with them. A lot of the guests seem to be stopping by on their way to the Today or Regis shows.

The Chris Rock interview a few weeks back was pretty good.

My favorite part of the show is Robin's News. They all crack jokes, and Fred is at his best with the sound effects.

The only parts of the show that I skip are the salandrichard bumpers that take the show in and out of commercial. Even the biggest skanks that pretend to think Howard is hot while being coaxed into riding the leaf blower, even those segments, I don't skip through.

I've made a promise to myself that I would listen to Howard until he retires, but I had to cut myself some slack...I can't listen to 90% of that salandrichard crap...its not funny and it just gets me angry to hear it repeated so many times throughout the day.

The interviews, especially the ones that happened before the vacation were great.

I used to skip through interviews, but I found that even a guest you may not be interested in might turn out to be fascinating. The interviews this week have been great. Where else do you get to hear a free-flowing interview go on for 45 min to an hour? Certainly not on regular radio or tv. The typical interview on tv seems to be 15 min of highly scripted banter and plugs.

I skip past uninteresting strippers/pornstars and most of Sal and Richard's phony phone calls. They don't make me angry, but I don't find them interesting so I skip right by them. In fact, I can't hit the ffw button fast enough when they come back from a break and I hear the sound of a phone ringing...

Loved the Maureen McCormick interview. Who would have thought, wholesome Marcia Brady blowing guys for coke? That completes the killing of the whole Brady Bunch myth---from great American dad Mike Brady being gay to Carol Brady dating her "son" Greg. Damn you Sherwood Schwartz.

I like most interviews and often listen to them even if the quest seems lame. Sometimes you're surprised. Now regular shitheads like Chuck Zito and Bob Levy are often skippable.

The Sarah thing was good only based on her comedy and the fact that she is a Superfan that can give it a little bit (at one point, even though jokingly, she tells Howard to fuck off). Just listened to it. That story about the brother was brutal. Also, what is the deal with her dropping the names about the people who went to smoke a joint with her? Does she mean to out them or is she out of her mind?

If it is a comedian then I listen. Otherwise I usually don't.

Was the interview with Colin Quinn unusually short? Does he not sit in on the news anymore (never did?). They were talking about how Mike Walker was coming on (BTW, good interview with him about that wife...we never hear about her anymore....and we didn't really today!) and it almost seemed like Howard tried to talk him out of it!

I listen to most of the interviews..

Today's interview with Maureen McCormick was great!! I always thought she was a "goodie two shoes" I have no interest in reading the book.

The one thing I've learned over the years is to never skip a Howard interview. Even if the guest is someone you're not interested in, there's always a chance you'll be entertained.

Huh, except Jenna Jamison.
