It is Hilary Blake, aka Hilary, who is best-known for the new wave classics "Kinetic" and "Drop Your Pants".

I thought this would be a stumper.

Hilary was considered by some as one of pop music's lost gems. Both the aforementioned songs were part of her sole album, an EP called "Kinetic".

What makes her a lost gem is quite simple: No song off "Kinetic" has ever been issued on CD, a rarity in the music biz. You can rip her songs off the web, which are all mastered off vinyl.

First Wave plays these two songs now and then; "Kinetic" can be heard on occasion on Dark Wave.
