We have conflicting reports. Orbitcast.com is reporting that channel 12 will be the Led Zepplin channel on 11/1/08.

So what is up with the rumors about the pulse?

What about the bridge?

WHATS GOING ON?

Other reports I have heard are that the Pulse (9) was moving up to 12, and XM 90s on 9 was taking the channel 9 spot. Who knows? If the Bridge goes again, it will another huge mistake! And it probably will be taken off again, as they have done more than once in the past, over strong listener protest even. I truly think SIrius doesn't care or listen at many times.:(

Orbitcast is right. Sirius XM released a press release.

So if this is such a big secret, how come the Pulse DJs are giving out info? And secondly, why are they giving out wrong info?

I'm guessing that November 1 Sirius 12 will become the Led Zep. channel. On Nov. 12 I'm guessing a massive channel realignment will take place and the Pulse will move to channel 12, and Led Zep. will move to another channel and who knows what might happen.

Now people are saying that the channel realignment might not happen until January... Who knows...????

Anyway, Ch12 will be Zep for as long as Sirius and XM stay as-is. Once the channels realign, nobody knows where anything will end up, but rumor has it Pulse will move to 12.

Who?? What people are saying it won't happen until January? XMLM has posted a message on MySpace of "changes in weeks", and Escape (XM78) is reportedly promoing a move to XM38 on Nov. 12th.

It's coming...and it's gonna come soon. They must do it prior to the holiday shopping blitz.

CONFIRMED FROM JON ZELLNER:
ME: Still on track for a mid-November "channel restructuring"?

JON: That is correct.

(I didn't ask a specific date, because I doubted he'd be able/willing to respond with one...we all know the date(s): Nov. 12-17)

I'm guessing what dlnester said: Led Zeppelin Radio on SIRIUS 12 and XM 39, only to move to a different channel with the massive channel restructuring coming mid-November.

I don't know who these people are you are referring too, but clearly there are a vast number of indications this thing is happening sooner rather than later.

I would just hope sooner or later they get a press release out detailing what is going on , this is so confusing.

So true , but come on here this is I think the biggest channel change ever , and the company could lose subscribers depending on what occurs.

It would appear they want to do this all at once and have people listen before cancelling. I suspect they will anticipate a huge number of CS calls on 11/12 and will deal with them then. I think they feel people would be less likely to cancel if they gave the new lineup a chance. If they release it now, they would deal with increased calls now and then on 11/12.

Where they have fucked up is by letting pieces be released to the public. They also laid off people before the change. This should have been done on 11/12 as well. Now there are rumours and whatever. Also some stations are starting to give out their new location. This is working against their desired big bang approach. Adding a new single artist channel in the middle of this hasn't helped.

Given all that has happened, I think they should release something now as a form of damage control.

People hate change, so everyone is going to bitch about whatever they do. That is why I think they would be smart to blow it all up and start over, no channels that carry over. All new names, bumpers, logo’s the whole deal.

This way everyone has lost their favorite channels.

They could then say, if you liked the Bridge then try this channel.

We would all be checking out the new channels not just the ones we used to like. What better way to remove the Sirius vs XM debate then to kill them both and start over.

That would make sense. That is why it will never happen at Sirius XM. :)
