Doubtful they are going to do the A la carte now with the channel merging and all.

Right now none of them and none are slated to be released. I agree with xmbrian, I think with the merging of the channels in the next few weeks, there will be no need.

No, I think WITH the merged channel lineup, they will DEFINITELY do the a la carte. I don't think they have a choice, with that being one of the BIGGEST pushes to the FCC.

BUT, it will be something like, ONLY Music, Music/Talk, Music/Talk/Sports or something more to that point... Now, it will all be very neat, instead of XM Music, XM Music/Sirius Music, XMM/SM/Sirius Talk, etc...

Aren't they required by the merger agreement to offer ala carte options?

I, personally, think all of the current XM radios can do ala carte. Didn't they offer O&A as an add on service at one point? Same thing with Playboy when it was offered. What's the difference if you turn off 1 channel that is not paid for.. or 50?

Am I missing something?
