What the heck happened to Buzzsaw??? It's now the Boneyard and all they play is AC/DC:mad:

This is getting to be a joke!!! I switched from XM cause I got sick of their channels and now I'm stuck with them?

Haven't you people ever heard the saying.....If it isn't broke don't fix it????

S19 XM53 January 15th I believe.

You will get a treat with Eddie Trunk's four hour slot Monday nights...

From an email I recieved from Sirius Canada....

Buzzsaw has been removed for the Boneyard. It will continue to play Classic Hard Rock from artists like Van Halen, Judas Priest and Metallica. This channel right now is playing ACDC until January.

So on Jan 15, will Buzzsaw return as it was before, just using the Boneyard name? I hope so, as I found Boneyard on XM to be a horrible mix of artists and songs.

No one really knows what Boneyard is going to be like when it returns. We will have to wait and see.

Buzzsaw was as broken of a channel as you could get. There was no rhyme or reason to the playlist and it needed to be dropped.

No the ACDC channel is not better, but Buzzsaw sucked and was one of the reasons I added XM.

You can not play Metallica, Iron Maiden and Sabbath and then follow it up with Pat Benetar or Queen, or 38 Special or fucking Loverboy.

I'll agree with you on that. I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago and just about laughed my ass off. But thats the first I'd heard them do somethign like that, usually the lighter rock groups was on Hair Nation or the 80's channel.

Hopefully when the Boneyard returns that they play the newer stuff from Priest Metallica and others like the XM version did.

That is what all Boneyard fans are hoping for.

It was nice to have a place to hear old and new songs by these bands.

I find it absurd I can only hear new Motley Crue on Octane.

....and no where can I hear the new Tesla or Yngwie Malmsteen after this merger.

At the the very least Eddie Trunk will be playing it...so there is hope for the Boneyard when it returns.

I really enjoyed the Eddie Trunk show, it's really the only thing I missed when switching to Sirius.

It will be interesting to see how this channel comes out in Jan. Boneyard was nothing at all like Buzzsaw. I always favored Boneyard over hairnation and buzzsaw so we shall see in Jan what happens.

I heard that considering all the other screw ups lets hope the get this one right! The problem though for the most part is those great programmers on XM are all gone. :(

Hopefully they play the newer stuff from those artists but we will see.I know you might complain but I think the newer stuff from G and R and AC DC need a outlet on here not on octane.

Just found this forum today while trying to find out if buzzsaw was ever coming back. I love ac/dc, but, well.....enough already, ya' know?

I agree that the mix on buzzsaw could be somewhet strange at times, but when they stuck towards the heavier side of the spectrum, they were the perfect station imo. I hope that boneyard goes in the right direction. It's encouraging to know that that Eddie Trunk will have a show....Hopefully he'll have some influence on the overall playlist as well.

As for long paul, who I understand has gotten the ax,.....all I can say is good riddance to one of the biggest posers since the adam curry. I hope they give a raise to whoever had the good sense to cut him loose.
