Since Sirius-XM is now marketing the Mirge, and slightly discounting for those who take both services on a single receiver, wouldn't it make more sense to start bumping two different channels, one from Sirius and one from XM, for each single-artist infomercial? On services with so much duplication, it would encourage dual subscriptions if there were always a way to retain the missing channel.

In fact, when they get around to merging the billing systems, they could let Sirius subs add a lowest-tier alternate sub on XM called the "Rest of XM," with the SXM channels you can't hear on Sirius at any given time. And that would of course include the channels bumped by the single-artist.

Yes, finally once again.

Hey Sirius XM, leave The Bridge alone and pick on some other channel...or better yet, stop with the artist channels.

I was disappointed that it didn't happen at midnight. At 12:15AM they were airing some stupid Paul McCartney concert. But it is great to have it back. Wonder for how long?

The music of Rob Zombie from this weekend until June 14th!

(I'm joking people! Go easy on me. Rob Zombie on the Bridge would probably make sense to Sirius if his people showed up with $25 million.)

Now that it's back I'm gong to listen to it more. It seems like they are starting to get the idea of having one channel per month....which is logical! Metallica came on when McCartney was ending..

Of course one of two of the major failures in this is that they pick the same kind of artists (white male rock). Prince has a three disc set coming out and I would imagine a monthly channel might interest him....and that is an INSANE catalog if you include outtakes and songs he wrote and produced for others). The second is that they scarfice a format for an entire month....Maybe it's good that they do pick white male rock acts since rock is over represented anyways.

Maybe do something like "all month long, from Fridays at noon to Mondays at 6 AM" for their next artist?

That way, it would be regular programming during the week, but once the weekend hits, then the special stuff would come on. During the week, they would occasionally play whatever artist along with a promo for the upcoming weekend.

I like the Bridge on the weekends too. They should do this on another channel.

Once Led Zeppelin radio left I got to listen to The Bridge again. It had been so long, I forgot it actually is worth listening to. It is now one of my presets. So can you leave it alone and take take the single artist channels and stick them someplace else. Preferably where the sun don't shine
