Welp. Just like Baba Booey, I might have misjudged the vacation week or maybe, like Apple, I made a bit of a stumble.

Either way, Howard Stern is live this week on SiriusXM Howard 100 and the SiriusXM app. On today's show, lots of discussion of the Oscars with AI Ralph. Howard also discussed the deaths of Gene Hackman and Michelle Trachtenberg.

And they had no idea how to pronounce Qatar.

In past years, Howard takes two weeks off in early March. Will it be the last two weeks this year or is something bigger afoot? (It's a vacation it is.)

They are one of our customers (at the company where I work). We learned to say CUT-ter, because it sounds close to the way they say it, as opposed to cut-TAR. But it's also where one of the Formula 1 circuits is, and the British announcers say CAT-tar. It's kind-of like Moammar Ghaddafi.

Yup. It's because they don't have that "qu" rule that we have. It's sort of reversed for them when they say "p" words that end up sounding like "b" sounds like bebber (pepper) or "bineapple" for pineapple.

Maybe that's a bit of Crackhead Bob (RIP!) in them.

That BlockTalk website is gone. What does this mean? No more Angry Political Guy....and no more many more phony phone calls. It seems Rocky Pendergast is also gone with the website closing.
