I'm pretty sure I remember Howard saying that, he purposely doesn't watch the movie before the guest comes in because he may not like it. He doesn't want his bad reaction to a movie to interfere with the interview.

It wasn't that long ago...

Yes. It's too bad they don't get a bigger push from Sirius XM. From what I can gather they've already had people at Sirius corporate telling them to "be more funny" and trying to tell them how to do the show.

LOL. I haven't heard their show since they were on WNEW years ago. I thought they were pretty good. Different....but good. Wish they were on one of Howard's channels.

I love Howard and all,but he can't have it both ways. He can't bitch about not getting the screener DVD's and then not watch it when he does. Well..... I guess he can have it both ways. Howard has been known to be a hippocrite ever once in a while and not own up to it.

By the way I tried Ron and Fez and I thought they were terrible, but if others dig it more power to them.

I don't see Howard as a hypocrite on this one. He wants the screener DVDs so he doesn't have to go to the theater, not so he can watch when someone related to a movie comes on the show.

Don't you think it would polite to actually watch the movie? After all they don't get that many A list directors to come in and I'm sure the studio isn't passing out many screeners for that movie. Even if he didn't like it he can lie for the good of the show. He does it every day when he talks about Becks beer and other advertisments. You and I both know he doesn't drink Becks, but he sure acts like it. Same thing with the film. He might not like it,but he could dance around it. He's great at that.

Don't get me wrong, I do agree with you. He should have done his homework but then it just wouldn't have been a typical Stern interview.

Did he say how long before this interview that he got the screener?

I never saw the other movie, probably won't see this one either, but I still enjoyed the interview. Maybe it's better that he didn't see it so that it didn't just turn into one long plug for the movie.

Here's the daughter. Quite a difference between the post-pregnancy interviewee and the actress in the scene.

I fell asleep during the first film. It didn't interest me, and I had already seen a Discovery channel program that speculated about Jesus having kids.

I liked the interview though, despite Howard not seeing the film.

I dunno, check back over his last 30 yrs of directing and I'm sure you'll find a movie that put him into that category.

Dude, I really really enjoyed your snarkiness there. Thanks for that. :loser:

How about a simplified question for you: WHAT MOVIE put him in that category?!?

Let's see what sort of whitty comeback you can throw down.

Sorry if I took your post wrong. I thought you were just pissing on the guest like we get from a lot of people around here. Or they'll just piss on anything it doesn't matter what or who it is.
If you were actually serious about your question then I apologize. Sometimes its hard to wade through the BS and the real questions around here.

Fair enough. I can easily see how one could get confused. It's all good.

Exactly. His acting credits also include two classic entries, and I'm not talking about "Eat My Dust" either. :D

He still has stupid red hair AND named his daughter Bryce Dallas. A bit high-brow, if you ask me. Heheh....
