What are the [X] at the end of each thread link on DRC Mobile?...

Is this a feature of everyone or is it a Mod tool? I'm afraid to click on it...

Thanks...:)

Anyone know how to get the OperaMini browser to be the default browser on a bberry? It doesn't list it in the options for Default Browser.

If you open the BB browser, click the Blackberry key and go to Options -> General Properties, will it let you make the change there? I don't know if that just toggles between the WAP and BB browsers, or if it will let you pick Opera there. I have a feeling that they don't let you make a third party browser the default, however.

In a possibly unrelated note, if you employer has your Blackberry hooked up to a BES, you might not be able to change that. Sometimes the BES Admin likes to lock that stuff down.

No, it only lists the Internet, Cingular or BBerry browser. It's not blocked at the BES, I AM the admin... ;)

Its a great little browser especially for reading the news. It just sucks that I can't open a DRC link from the GMail app to it AND it doesn't give an option to Copy the link from GMail so I'd have to launch in another browser and then copy the link and paste into Opera. Not worth the hassle...

Check over at the Opera forums - can't imagine that there isn't some hack that might do the trick for you. Pretty active group over there, so worth a shot.

I've been having off and on trouble with DRC on my phone. About half the time it'll work right. the other half of the time it'll tell me all about how I'm looking at "Another great website hosted by Web Faction" or something to that effect. anyone else seeing this?

I like it in the fact that when I'm on my Computer (as I am now), it shows the regular theme. When I'm on my iPhone it defaults to the mobile theme. And the mobile theme is very snappy on 3G which saves a lot of battery life. :D

OK, I picked up a Samsung Omnia over the holidays, awesome phone, and find that it really is cool browsing the web on it, but do find it kind of slow to browse/post to the DRC and yes it is a battery hog. How do I get to the WEP version of the DRC on my Opera browser? I'm digging the idea of faster posting. What do I do?

land of confusion
scroll down to the bottom and choose between twisted dark or drc style. i'm runninf opera mini and have the default interface as twisted dark.

i hate that you can't copy and paste things with opera mini, and when i need to copy and paste something i keep forgetting to use pie so i can copy and paste under the mobile interface.
