I have a Terk 50 foot antenna extension cable running through my house & then connected to my SIRIUS radio in the living room. I am thinking of getting an XM radio (w/ lifetime sub) to put in this living room area. Can I use the Terk 50ft extension with an XM radio somehow? I would be able & willing to change the antenna connected at the end of the Terk extension if needed (currently has a SIRIUS home antenna attached).

I can't really remove the Terk SIRIUS 50ft extension and replace it with some sort of XM extension cause it was basically run along wall areas before some drywall went up in the house so it is basically permanent & can't simply be pulled out. I was hoping I could still use it for an XM radio instead of trying to mess with running another XM extension.

Yea, I guess I should probably just use a XM specific extension cable as stated just to be safe, but snaking it through some walls & up to the attic is gonna be a REAL pain. I was just really hoping I wouldn't have to do this. Oh well. I know there are some signal repeaters & might consider them, but the XM extension cable is probably my least expensive option right now.

I see the Delphi XM signal repeater that coould of possibly been an option, but I assume that is radio specific & for the Delphi XM radio only, correct? If so, it seems like an expensive radio from what I have seen & wasn't looking to spend THAT much for an XM radio right now. Or maybe it can be had for cheaper price than what I have initially found.

The Delphi XM Repeater System will work with any XM Radio. Not specific to Delphi models.

Oh OK. That is good to know that the Delphi XM repeater system will work with ANY XM radio. That will definitely make things a LOT easier. Plus, it loks like its about the same price as an XM extension cable. Is this XM repeater system pretty reliable and durable? Just curious.

Our customers have been pretty happy with it. We really don't see any returns on them so I am certain they are doing as good a job as the sirius echo system does.
