Couldn't frickin stay away. I was fine until the site I download Ellis' show from got closed down. So, now I'm activating my S2 again. Looks like 1 year for $116.55 because this radio was activated in the past.

oops... perhaps not. I get ZERO signal with the S2. Crazy because my XMP3 gets like 4 bars. Guess I'll be re-activating my XMP3 instead. F$CK!! I farking HATE having to pay for "best of Sirius"!
I'm really torn now on resubscribing now. I only want Jason Ellis and Stern and I find it incredibly annoying that I have to pay extra for XM just because I want decent reception. Frickin scam. I also find it amazing that my XMP3 gets 4 bars and my S2 gets zero. Never had that before. Usually they both worked roughly the same.
Do you think there's anything you may need that you don't have that will help you get better reception at your place with the SL2? You know we will help you out!
Appreciate the offer. I'll just reactivate my XMP3. I could get an S2 home kit but then I'm stuck recording everything. I take the unit on the train with me in the morning and again in the evening so it would never be here to record (and there's no Jason Ellis replay overnight). Also, I work in a radiation facility - no matter what kind of dock you have, NO signal is getting through those walls so no way I can record while I'm at work.
There's not an internet solution out there? That's how I listen at work.

I'm on a Dept. of Defense computer, so no wireless (although I do listen via streaming using my ex's account). And I could drive... but I could never park. Parking at the Medical Center is a joke. I walk in the rain/snow rather than battle for parking.
I was kidding, ya big commie train rider. Sirius' hardware has always sucked ballz, so I'm not surprised the SL2 fails. My in-dash unit works OK in the car, but everywhere else I use the internet streaming thing.
My S2 worked flawlessly in Houston and "ok" up in Portland. I figure DC would be perfect. Apparently not. On the upside, my XMP3 gets signal everywhere. I'll just get out the lube and let XM insert their "best of Sirius" charges.
