1) The Twitter account. (Didn't they start this a week before vacation? Yeah, that's a good idea.)

2) The Howard Stern Media Player...anyone remember this? It was actually a good idea to have a webcam in to a special media player for subscribers only.

3) Working Fridays (hehe....;) )

I forgot all about the HS media player. Personally, doesn't matter to me as I use StreamOn.

And yeah, the Twitter thing looks like it stopped May 20th. Lazy bastards.

3) working Fridays seconded. Why are we talking about extending his contracted when he bitches daily about the work hours? There's not enough (any) money Sirius can offer him to stay. Howard is gone at contract end ... or, he'll do some lame ass 1 hour/week deal. And then Sirius will really understand why they should have worked with people like Bubba.
Fatal flaw of Sirius... they brought in terrestrial radio idiots to run the company. Nobody with vision.

Canada Eh!
They brought up the Twitter thing yesterday on the show. It doesn't sound like they'll be doing much with it.
I do remember when the brought it out right before holidays, someone (I think Howard or Tim) said they wanted to wait until after but someone mentioned it on the air so they started it early.

Twitter is gay. Let it die.

When Mel had a Power Point slide showing Myface, Spacebook, and Twatter as primary marketing outlets for the product at the annual meeting, you know they are in trouble.

Oh wow. I actually downloaded that thing and remember when they were supposedly going to send live pictures from the studio. I wonder what happened with that.

And lest we forget, how about those pages and pages of ideas for shows he had written in a notebook?

Some of those ideas might have actually come to fruition. The Howard 100 News team, Wrap-Up Show, Howard TV, ideas for 7 PM shows that have come and gone (not just the current ones, but things like the fart-a-thon, Heidi Cortez, etc.)

Just because Howard doesn't/didn't mention the idea as coming from the notebook doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen.

Howard said they stopped twittering about 3 weeks ago. Gary said no one has complained about it either. Even Tim Sabean didn't know they had stopped. Howard asked what their last Twitter was. Gary wasn't sure.

Howard took a call from Wheels who said that Twitter sucks. Howard said it really does. He said that Tim was the one who was so high on doing it. Howard said they weren't going to put any energy into it because he'd rather put it toward the show. Gary said their last Twitter was ''Here's the news with Robin.'' Howard said that whole thing was silly.

Maybe it was from Howard's show, but someone said that a lot of people tend to Twitter for 2-3 weeks, maybe 1 1/2 months at most before giving it up. It sounded like Howard was forced to use Twitter, and didn't really want to.

Really, I use my Facebook status as a Twitter-esque thing.

Easy solution. Turn the radio off.

I think that anyone with a pre-paid subscription is getting internet radio until your next renewal cycle. All of my accounts are pre-paid through the next several months, so I'll find out for sure in a little while as they start to renew.

Ahhh... our full circle solution.

I don't like going somewhere. In fact, I absolutely HATE going somewhere. Yet, I still pay to go to that place.

So why do I do it? The above equation makes no sense. There's much more on Sirius that isn't 100 or 101. Spin the dial, and if you don't like where it lands, spin it again.

That wasn't my understanding of the email Sirius sent but it works for me.
