You're doing great! As I said, the whole point of TTD is to stretch our listening habits so that we get to discover new things. WTD does even walk the classical channels (Symphony Hall, etc.). You just can't please everybody every week.
US Politics isn't my things these days (I've followed them over the last year, with the election and all), but, hey, who knows? Maybe I'll actually enjoy the shows. They're being recorded on my SL2 right now. I'm more into "economy" these days; as if the two weren't related. Heh!
As for my likings... I discovered Book Radio. Now that they post the PDF listings on the XM web site, it has become quite an interesting channel for me. It does have a few talk shows, not only book readings. I caught a show called Slice of Sci-Fi the other day. It wasn't too bad. Of course, book readings are out of the game for TTD; you have to plan listening (or recording) these ahead with the schedule, and not miss a single episode (or you're dead!). But, there's always the Sherlock Holmes episodes that are fun to listen to!
