I think the truck series is in serious trouble. The news of Roush Fenway leaving is not a good sign. The cost of racing and lack of sponsorship money is a killer for many teams. Even start and parking isn't paying off.

The economy isn't better than at the start of the season...I would say it's worse. It's not gonna turn around anytime soon. Companies don't have the money to sponsor anybody like before and people have less and less extra money to go to races.

While I also think the NW series is hurting too, it's in better shape than the truck series. For now. It's a very sad thing to see.

Canada Eh!
It does suck whats happening. Its some of the best racing out there right now too.
I think maybe having a few more Wed night prime time races would maybe help ratings (and then maybe attract more sponsors) Just a thought.

It would be a shame to cancel out the rest of next years season a cpl races in due to no money! But I would bet there would be one reporter (who will not be named...cause Moody wouldn't say) that would be calling a certain show to let everyone know he/she was right.

Didn't Nascar shut down a series not long ago due to no money?

I remember all the talk last year during the off season and then at the beginning of this season about things being bad. And here we are going into the off season again and it's no where near getting better.

This next season we may see what some feared would happen this season. But time will tell.
