This is installed stationary at my work, lately I had been getting drop outs and now the last 2 days nothing at all. Screen just says "Acquiring Signal" yet on the "antenna strength" screen I have all the blocks lit up.

What I have tried-
I tried adjusting the antenna, installed another antenna, powered down & reboot.
I park my vehicle that has a different P-n-P in it next to where the antenna is and get good reception.

Has my JVC took a dump?

It might be on it's last limb then. If you are loyal to that model I would search for a replacement maybe on Ebay. But call SIRIUS and tell them about the issue. Hopefully you find a person on the first or second try who is helpful and may be able to troubleshoot it. I mean, I'm pretty sure it's bad, but it's good to get a second opinion.

Hrmm.. I dunno, after 7 years I may be finished with sat radio. I have 4 subscriptions and have been pretty bummed with all the talk / DJ stuff on my favorite channels.
I do like the SR2000, better so than others I have owned so looks like decision time.

Mostly 2 & 60. When those have the artist & DJ chats I just get furious. I realize everyone is different, me I just want music. A little blurb between songs is ok but to go on and on about the artist life stories has me asking.. why I pay for this service?

Get another JVC on ebay ! These are great units and by now the price is probably lower than any new radio.I actually liked my old radio better ,it was way easier to change and look for channels than the SL2.

Are there any with green displays that look like they belong?
At least the SR2000 has an auto dim function for night time. The blue display on my sportster stands out like a sore thumb against factory green lighting.
I have it dimmed to the max so can barely see it in the day and at night its not near as bad. Turn it up any and it becomes the blue light special.

I may get a home cradle for the blue light special in my truck and move that to my work.

I am on my third one now. I got the 3000, but they put in this record bullshit which is very annoying. I just wish they were more reliable.

Ah..the 2000.....that was my first receiver....LOVED it! Yes, replace it with the same, I'm with magicjellybeans on this one, th eolder radio's are better in certain area's! I actually just went from a Stiletto SL100 back to my trusty Xact Visor! Man the FM transmitter........you gotta' give the old 12-volt models some credit...I like the design model of the Visor, and Sirius One, etc...that are truely standalone....with all indusrty standard ports onboard the unit itself. Not having to rely in the docks/kits for connectivity/interconnection. I don't know the build quality on SOME of the older models was better then too....
