tom arnold is an old friend and frequent of the show. IMO i think hes as enjoyable as joan rivers 
I love when Tom comes on. I could see him as a replacement for Howard in 1 1/2 years or at least give him a couple of hours on 1 of the channels.

He's not an a-lister, but he brings it every time he's interviewed. He's forthcoming, he's entertaining and he's willing to drop a bushel load of shit on people he doesn't care for.
Considering how much Howard made fun of him in the nineties, I think it's really cool that Tom is alright with it.

I only heard the last half of the interview and it was entertaining. Not ground breaking or anything but he's always funny.

Who cares if he's an A-lister? Most interviews with A-list types are coma inducing because they have to watch what they say or their publicists don't allow anything off the cuff. Howard (and O&A for that matter) shouldn't even bother with people like that. Automatic channel changer.
I thought it wasn't that bad, unlike most ppl that have been listening to Howard forever, I haven't so everything (even if its the second interview) isn't that disappointing to me. I thought it was funny... A-List or not... who cares...Watch Ellen, or Oprah or someone, if you want to listen to boring A-list banter
