Penn State, boy oh boy, what a disappointment. I really thought this would be a good bowl game. The problem is that the Big 10 sucked this year, and made PSU look a lot better than perhaps they really are. I'll bet Joe Pa is GLAD he's not on the sidelines for this one!

The problem isn't Penn St. The problem is with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. They're the ones who say that the PAC-10 and the Big 10 have to play every year, unless one of those Champions have to play in the championship game at another bowl...:right:

If it were up to me, I'd have USC play either Utah, Texas, or Alabama. That would have made a better game...:)

Actually the problem is U$C. They are practically a pro team and hard to beat in this situation under Poodle Pete.

Pete Carroll does a great job of recruiting and coaching. They beat my favorite team almost every year (UCLA).

Maybe next year they can play in the BCS Championship Game...:)

It doesn't hurt to have a home game as a BOWL game either.

that there is where the problem lies, Penn St had to travel almost 2900 miles to get there, USC travelled 11. I thought bowl games were supposed to be played at "neutral" sites?

Maybe if Penn St. had a better team it wouldn't have been so boring...:(

Maybe if Oregon St won the PAC-10 it would have been a better match up...:(

Maybe if the Big-10 wasn't invited every year, it would be a better game...:)
