The Return of the USFL in 2010

I dont' understand why people think we need another football league. THE NFL is just about as perfect as it can get. Sure, they don't really allow celebrations, some penalties are a bit stupid but come on, the NFL really can't be beat from a TALENT standpoint.

Plus, the way the season culminates with the playoffs and then the grand finale of the Super Bowl really prevents me from watching any other football. I just don't want to watch it in the spring. Spring is for Baseball.

If there were spring football worth a damn I would watch it. I'm always ready for some football. As long as it's similar to college/pro. Don't want no indoor 50 yard stadiums or teams 4,000 miles away.

Maybe they are waiting to see how the NFL collective bargining agreement turns out. The current agreement ends after this season, including the salary cap. Could cause a strike or lockout. More players on the street, more players available for the new league.
