The New USFL - For the Love of the Game! personally I am kind of amused that there are now 3 leagues that want to go against the NFL.
The Ohio Glory baby! It only existed one year (1992). I went to a game and actually enjoyed it. I could never watch it on TV though. We went 1-9.

I think I actually may have an Ohio Glory sticker somewhere.
There's this league as well as the league that aims to have college graduates playing in college cities. I can't remember it's name, but it's a spring league which has been delayed several times.
Does anyone remember WFL?

Actually Denver was 9-9 in their second season. That isn't great but it doesn't quite suck. They made the playoffs and then they sucked. :Smiley_wink:
The Denver Gold. Had pretty cool uniforms, and had former Broncos coaches and players on the coaching staff. Beyond that not really famous for anything but sucking.
I dont' understand why people think we need another football league. THE NFL is just about as perfect as it can get. Sure, they don't really allow celebrations, some penalties are a bit stupid but come on, the NFL really can't be beat from a TALENT standpoint.
Plus, the way the season culminates with the playoffs and then the grand finale of the Super Bowl really prevents me from watching any other football. I just don't want to watch it in the spring. Spring is for Baseball.
