I'm a big Pulse fan and have been for many years. Sure Sirius could use a all '90s channel but the Pulse plays all the hits plus they do a really good job playing new music. I'm also a fan of The Pulse Music Monitor that airs every Friday night.
What do you guys think?

Yep loved this channel, one of my favorites, hope it makes the move come November 5th.

I also enjoy listening to The Pulse, but to be honest. I like to see this channel split in half. So we can have a pure 90's channel and a whatever you call it - the 00's?

I agree, its been 18 years since the 90s began, they deserve their own channel. The mix might be fine for some, but many want a true 90s decade channel that plays just 90s , not something from 1990 followed by a 2008 hit.

Yes this is my number 1 preset and has been for a long time. Since XM has Flight 26 which is basically the same, I assume that The Pulse will survive the merging of channels and Flight 26 will go away.

I would be shocked if this channel doesn't survive. If I were programming SiriusXM I would keep The Pulse on both services as a Hot AC station (with little to no change to the programming)...and also multicast XM's current 90s on 9...to both services.

Yes that is EXACTLY what I would do too. We need a 90s channel and the Pulse is better than Flight 26. So this seems like a reasonable way to do it.

I personally hate this channel and wish there was a 90's only channel. I hope the Pulse goes in the channel cut-offs in favor of a 90's channel.

I like the Pulse and Starlight. I get a good mix of current music and some from the past without the music sounding "old"

A 90's channel to me would do nothing for me, but that's probably just me.

Rumor is that Sirius & XM will have a '90s decade channel on 9 and we'll have a separate strict modern Hot AC channel... basically The Pulse without the R&B and Rap or like Flight 26.

Whether it will still be called The Pulse - we won't know until a few weeks.

"The Pulse" format isn't going anywhere just that they'll be a separate '90s channel for songs from Mariah Carey, TLC, Coolio, Nirvana, etc. Whether they'll call it "The Pulse" nobody knows yet unless you at work at Sirius XM.

If anything, Sirius listeners will be benefiting the most.

If it's anything like XM's Flight 26, I'm out. Gone...

Since the Pulse is moving to Channel 12 whenever the suits give the music merger the go-ahead, it appears that Sirius is going to get a specific 90s channel to with the decades round-up. But, of course, the "90s on9" is guess work since we won't find out about the new lineup until the company officially says something.

I do like The Pulse much better than Flight 26.
