I watched the last qtr. If Payton Manning would have been QB on the final two drives, the AFC would have pulled it out.

Final: 30-21/NFC

I watched about 10 minutes of the third quarter. Three things I noticed

1.They BERATED Anquan Boldin about his contract situation
2. Tiki Barber has no business being in broadcasting
3.Chris Collinsworth is a TOTAL chump. He sounded like he was drunk the whole time!

:35 left in 1st half. 1st and goal AFC from about the 7. No timeouts. You hear the play call. Chris said "Running play". I don't care what he throught he heard, there is absolultely nobody that stupid to call a running play in that situation.

Why was Madden not there?

Madden is afraid to fly. He takes a high end motorhome to each venue and of course he could not make it there.

Madden is well-known for his fear of flying. Two different theories have developed as to the cause. One theory relates to the October 29, 1960 Cal Poly football team plane crash that claimed the lives of sixteen players, the team’s student manager, and a football booster. Having graduated from Cal Poly only two years previous, Madden lost many friends in the accident. However, it is known that Madden flew up until 1979, when he had a panic attack on a flight originating in Tampa. Madden, however, stated once in an interview that his fears were not about turbulence, flying, or heights, but primarily claustrophobia. He also once noted that when he did fly, traveling all over the United States did not allow him to see anything.

It's football so I watch it.

But I've never understood the concept of All Star Games.

Let's take the greatest assets from multiple teams and pit them against one another in a game that dosen't really count.

Any injury is potentially devasting to a team or a career.

At least the NFL does it after the season.
