Five in a row for Hornaday! First time in 38 years since a driver has won 5 in a row in a NASCAR, national series. Next stop, Bristol, after a little time off.

Hornaday joined Richard Petty and Bobby Allison, who both did it in 1971 in the Cup Series, in a tie for second on the all-time consecutive win list. Petty holds the all-time record with 10 in a row in 1967.

I watched most of the race. That track sits about 2 miles from the house I used to own. When they were building the track there were people selling to get away from the noise it would cause. Some people made a fortune selling land close to the interstate.

I still laugh at the name of the track since it's around 30 miles east of Nashville in Lebanon. Which the locals pronounce as "leb uh nun" ..... NOT...."leb ah non" like was said on TV.

I still haven't been there yet but my cousin just married a fella who's a fan and has a booth there.

I just saw "old man" Martin on TV in a press conference and WOW has he got some arms. I knew the little man worked out but had no idea he had upper arms like that.

Another driver I don't like. Basically anyone who's in that Childress-Harvick-Earnhardt Triangle, I don't much care for :worried:

I think I went to the same High School he did. That is if he stayed in the Palmdale, CA area going up :)

Like him or not, impressive stat, none the less. I may have to go to Bristol a day early to see if I can witness some more history in this sport.

Impressive? Yes.

I wonder when NASCAR is going to take the KHI Silverado to the R&D Center & give them a more restrictive plate?

Hell, that's nothing compared to the face on Mars. Which looks like this girl I met at a bar in Florida.

Yeah, when I quit smoking in '98 I had to quit drinkin' too. Can't do one without the other. ;)

I beg to differ. I successfully quit smoking about five years ago buy I'm still capable of consuming an adult beverage or two. I do admit though, it was tough to do one without the other.

Well, me too but a drink of something every so often isn't "drinkin'". :p Know what I mean?

I love margarittas but I haven't had one since the 4th of July.
