I agree as well hellva game , but bad news for Cardinals fans I think they wont make the playoffs next year because they will fall to the Superbowl losers curse.

Nope it not bad news for Cardinals fans! They played hard and worked hard to get to the Super Bowl. But I been watching my local news and the Cards fans are sad, but alot of them are saying they will still back them up and believe they will make it again to the playoffs next year!!!

I agree they played there asses of to get to the Superbowl , but look at this trend of Superbowl Losers in the next Season.
2008 New England lost to the New York Giants No Playoffs
2007 Chicago lost to the Indianapolis Colts No Playoffs
2006 Seattle lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers Made it to the Playoffs but lost to Chicago in the Divisional Round
2005 Philadelphia lost to the New England Pats No Playoffs
2004 Carolina lost to the New England Pats No Playoffs
2003 Oakland lost to the Tampa Bay Bucs No Playoffs
2002 St Louis lost to the New England Pats No Playoffs
2001 New York Giants lost to the Baltimore Ravens No Playoffs
2000 Tennessee Titans lost to the St.Louis Rams Made Playoffs lost Divisional Round to the Baltimore Ravens
1999 Atlanta Falcons lost to the Denver Broncos No Playoffs.

What I am trying to say is in the last decade only 2 out of the previous 10 losing Superbowl Teams have made the playoffs and Arizona will fall to that curse I think.

I don't care about those results! I agree they probably won't make it to the Super Bowl, but they will probably win there division next year because it one of the easiest in the league. So I don't want to argue here they will or won't make it to the playoffs!!! The season is over now all 32 teams can rest and get ready for another great season!

I'm really liking the halftime show so far. I know Bruce is not always the most popular topic of conversation on this forum, thanks to the single-artist channel, but he has always been a great live performer.

He was fabulous. About 1/2 way through I said ... I should have been recording this on one of our radios. Had the stereo volume turned up very loud with the TV broadcast.

Well it's not looking good for the Cardinals. They're down 20-7 with less than a quarter to play...:(

Good job by the Steelers. It's time for me to go to bed. I have to get up early...:)

You missed most of the game. The 4th quarter seemed to be the most exciting. :)

Holy cow! 23-20 Cards! Warner to Fitz for 64 yds to da house!

I got a lecture from my 7 year old son (8 tommorow) about bad words after that score.

Glad the Steelers won. The defence certainly was overrated as far as I can see.

Still dont come posting here during the 09 season and I warned you that the trend would continue. :p

I will post here for the 09 season! I don't take warnings and I guess you don't know how to read around here! I said they will probably not make it to the Super Bowl again, but they'll probably make it to the playoffs! So what do you don't understand and I said I don't want to argue which you are. So I am warned you know!!!:rofl2:

Next year's success in Arizona will be largely dependent on what Kurt Warner does this offeason. Will he retire? If he doesn't retire, will he come back to Arizona (he's a free agent)? I've heard rumors that the Rams would be more than willing to bring Warner back to St. Louis.

If Kurt Warner doesn't come back, looks like Matt Leinart would be up next. Not sure I'd be too confident with him running my offense going into '09.

The real question will be whether the rest of that division will be a doormat next year. If Seattle and SF become competative, I don't see AZ as a shoe in for the division again.
