Richard and Kyle's relationship has always been iffy it seems, but we dont really know what goes on behind closed doors. But I think this little excerpt says alot about it.
How the hell can you say your son's future with YOUR company kinda fell through the cracks of a closed door deal?

Sad story IMO. Not much communication going on. I like Kyle. I can't imagine going through what he has. Sometimes that alone is enough to break up a family.

Its pretty sad, Ive had ups and downs with my dad, but I cant imagine it being public knowledge like this.

The "public" part of it bothers me too. Yesterday TP spent a lot of time discussing this topic. You know, Choc refuses to talk at all about Junior/Teresa and that deal, because it is their "private" business. He sure didn't have trouble taking calls all day long on the Petty clan.

I got the impression listening to the show that neither of them wanted to talk about it to much because they know both of them well.
