I don't think you should be allowed to win the Heisman more than once. That being said, I still think Sam Bradford is the best player and should be the Heisman winner.

I think this is the very reason Tebow didn't went again! There were many who voted that felt like he had already won it so give it to someone else. The voting was sort of screw too.

I still think Tebow should have won, he is all that football is in his leadership skills, his management on the field and off the field. He makes things happen for Florida!

It's all good though. Now we'll get to see two Heimean winners go at it in the Championship game!

Go Gators! :)

I wonder if Archie Griffin was relieved of this.

"Griffin finished fifth in the Heisman vote in his sophomore year and won the award as a junior and senior." The only one to do it.

I'm a little biased, but I think Pat White should be nominated. He broke serious records over the course of his college career. Sure, the Mountaineers floundered severely this year and last year versus Pitt, but I don't understand how the all-time rushing college quarterback and the all-time touchdown scorer of the Big East doesn't get a seat at the event. He probably wouldn't win if invited, but the fact that he's completely passed over is disappointing.

However, Griffin couldn't cut it in the NFL. A significant number of Heisman winners never live up to expectations in the pros.

I agree completely! :agree:

Tebow actually got more first place votes than Bradford, but got ripped off by the screwy voting system.

As a comparison Stafford from GA in the SEC leads with 3209. Why should a conference be rewarded for not playing D? Can't wait for Florida to put an end to this nonsense with a thumping of OK.

My thoughts exactly! :agree:

If Bradford played for an SEC team, his passing stats would be considerably lower.

GO GATORS!

That is very true. He did last 7 seasons though. I think the average is 3 years for players.

Archie SHOULD'VE quit after three.

He scored only seven rushing touchdowns in seven seasons, and averaged only 400 yards rushing per year.

Rushing for only one touchdown per year and about 25 yards per game, isn't exactly a hall of fame career. ;)
