Not only were the Buckeyes very impressive in their last 3 games leading to the National Championship, ironically, they got to play and take out the top three Heisman candidates:

Melvin Gordon in the B1G Championship
Amari Cooper in the Sugar Bowl Championship
Marcus Mariota in the National Championship

Mariota said he hasn't made up his mind if he's gonna go pro. Maybe he feels he has unfinished business at Oregon.

I'd leave for the NFL.

I like him, too. I thought USC was dumb not to make him the HC. I don't know how many students he could recruit from SEC Country, but I bet he could have brought a few to SoCal.

Will he even start?

JT Barrett gonna stay?

Braxton Miller?

I know Ohio St would contend if they were put in the four school playoff. I know they'd be overlooked.

I'm no Buckeye fan, but you can't say they lucked into anything.

That's nothing but hard work & preparation.

Looks like Michigan State is dropping cupcakes and beefing up their schedule. Good for them.

By the way Baylor has a terrible out of conference schedule the next few years. Their not even considering changing that. So if they get left out of the playoff it's nobody's fault but their own.
