Carolina clinched the 2 seed in th NFC this afternoon with a 33-31 win over New Orleans...BUT they let NO come back in the 4th quarter of a game they lead 30-10. If the Panthers don't shore up their D, their playoff stay might be short.

The Atlanta Falcons won today over St. Louis. I THINK that puts them in as a wild card, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

The Dolphins win the AFC East, instead of the Patriots!
Who would have believed that after last year?

Eagles 44, Cowboys 6 :right:
How does Wade Phillips keep his job after that one?

No Patriots or Cowboys in the playoffs. Let me sit back and drink a cold one. :hw:

The Steelers have the winner of the Miami/Balt. game. I would hate to play Baltimore for the 3rd time but it would be cool to beat them 3 times in one season!

If Baltimore wins, they go to Tennessee. The Titans get the lowest remaining seed in the second round, which would be the Ravens (6) if they move on. So if Pittsburgh is going to beat Baltimore for the third time, it'll have to be in the AFC Championship.

I just found that out yesterday, thanks. My Steelers were a number 6 seed three years ago and we won it all. Hopefully, with the Ravens having a rookie QB they will be knocked out. I don't want to play them again.

If you could watch just one playoff game this weekend, which would it be?

No doubt my choice is Indy/SD. Two very hot teams with explosive offenses. Seems to be the most attractive match-up...probably why NBC put it in primetime Saturday night.

Vegas has the spread at even. They're just begging people to pick the Colts.

Chargers are the first 8-8 team to win the Superbowl. The end of a crazy year.
