Didn't Dale Earnhardt Sr call Jeff Gordon a Cry Baby?...:scatch:

Four championships and 80+ win later, I don't think he minds being called a Cry Baby anymore...;)

I don't remember if he did or not but I wouldn't doubt what you're saying. You're memory seems pretty good.

I just find all of this Kyle Busch stuff somewhat entertaining. Nobody really has the facts about it but everyone has a strong opinion on it.

Exactly. I haven't heard one interview on that or any other show that has any facts on what was going on after Monday's race. The guy parked on pit road, slammed his helmet and ran the length of pit road, jumped over the wall and exited the track. Who knows why? His motor home was out there. Maybe he was heading there? Maybe he had a ride out there and was leaving the track? I can remember plenty of times seeing Earnhardt leaving his car after a race to get to the helicopter to get the heck out of there. Any of you that have been to the track when he was running saw that.

I think he had to relieve himself and there was a bank of port-o-johns just outside turn four.

Remember when Tony Stewart crapped his firesuit at Watkins Glen? He ran off but did come back... Maybe Kyle had a sour stomach? It happens...

Yes, I do remember that incident. Also, several years ago, I was talking to Bryan Tyler at Indianapolis 500 practice day, and he told me that Smoke was the "stinkiest SOB I ever knew". Apparently the two of them used to carpool quite a bit in the USAC barnstorming days.

I am sick to death of hearing about Jr/Jr and Kyle/everyone else. I find myself listening to a lot more Fox News and Oldies as I travel this great state of Indiana. For Chrissakes, it is Thursday! Can we not move on to something different? I understand that the hosts will listen to what the listeners want to say, but this has gotten totally out of hand.

I agree his actions were uncalled for and unprofessional. He thinks there should be a double standard for himself.
He's still one of the better drivers out there he just needs to do some growing up.

I absolutely agree Snoozer, he has more talent in his right leg than most of the guys in all three series. It's just really frustrating to see him act like he does at times when thing don't go his way. I can fully understand his frustration, i just wish he's show more class.

This is exactly the kind of thing that I was talking/writing about. Nobody has bothered to interview anyone associated with Kyle Busch and what went on Monday afternoon. Any comment on what took place after that race is purely speculation.

Come on now, Do you really believe that? or have you just drank to much of the Kool-Aid. It's not like this is the first time this has happened, be real every time anything doesn't go Kyle's way he throws a temper tantrum.

I could draw all kinds of conclusions on him running up pit road and out of the track just like everyone else here. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt. As I said before, I don't know of any interview that is out there that explained anything, only speculation. You don't have to agree with me, that's OK.

lets say he does "grow up" as has been put before, then this sport has another Jimmie Johnson vanilla as they come and boring, then everyone on here is bitching about how the sport needs more characters and not so much vanilla "like the good ole days", a favorite line that I hear used A LOT on 128 and on here.

the only reason this is getting so much attention is becasue the media attention is ten or twenty fold over what it used be, even a decade ago.

hell even Darrell Waltrip became a "fan favorite" in his later years.

First off Jimmy grew a beard so he's a tough guy now ;) .....
I think there can be a happy median between another puppet and running away from the track. I think thats where he'll end up. He'll always have the temper he just needs to control it and use it to his advantage.

The 'temper' thing sure hasn't hurt Stewart, Edwards or Harvick. All of them have their moments. That makes this sport better IMO. Heck, I even remember Jeff Gordon grabbing someone in the past after a race in the pits. Kyle Busch isn't my driver but I sure wish my driver had that much intensity.

Yes. AND...because he's doing better than Jr., and because he lost his ride at Hendrick.

If the internet (and Sat. radio) were around through the '80's and '90's I can only imagine what would have been said then. A lot of history has been romanticised. I guarantee that a lot of older drivers are SO glad today's media weren't around back in the day.
