Does anyone else live in New York City and have had problems with the terrestrial repeater? When I first got my stiletto 2 years ago, I could walk through midtown Manhattan to work with no dropouts, without using the satellite headphones. Now, I can't go 20 feet without getting "Acquiring Signal." Could this be a problem with my stiletto slowly dying, or is this a repeater issue in New York?

I doubt it's an issue with the stiletto "dying" but it could be related to the stiletto. When was the last time you did an update or a device recovery. It may be worth a shot to due a full device recovery. That way you have all the software and channel updates. How long have you had these outtages in your area?

Unfortunately, I've done numerous full device recoveries for the same reason as others - my recordings suddenly being erased. I usually walk to work in the summer, so it's been about a year since I've used my Stiletto for terrestrial signal. But I do remember the signal quality starting to die off a bit last year.
