Well..... We're finally back to the action track. The track too tough to tame. Oh, wait a second, sorry, it's PocOno.....

Who's going to win this one?

Qualifying: Friday, July 31 at 3:10pm/et, TV-ESPN2

Television Coverage: ESPN, 1:00pm/et - Remove Punch & put Bestwick back in the booth.

Scheduled Green Flag (approx): 2:18pm/et

Scheduled Race Re-Airs:
ESPN2: Monday, August 3 at 3:00am/et
ESPN Classic: Monday, August 3 at 1:00pm/et
SPEED, Wednesday, August 5 at 12:00pm/et

Weather Link..... AccuWeather.com - Long Pond 5 Day Weather Forecast: PA

Carl Edwards - defending race winner. Can he finally get one this year?

Sunoco & Red Cross sponsoring this race together. I know when I hear Sunoco, I think Red Cross.

Phantom Debris Cautions Over/Under - 3

End time of race +- 6:30PM. Strap in for a long day!

Double-file restarts should produce some good TV shots from the end of the front stretch! Five-wide heading towards Turn 1.

In the 63 Cup races held at Pocono the winner has started in the front row 23 times and the top ten 45 times.

Mark Martin leads all drivers in top fives (19) and top 10s (31), but has yet to win at Pocono. His best finish was second, six times (most recently in August, 2004).

I'll go with Hamlin. He'll have allot of confidence going into this one and will want to make up for last week.

Even at 3.

Strap in for a long day!

No thanks. I don't even think I'll DVR this one. I haven't watched a track there in YEARS...over 10 at least. As usual, anybody but Jimmie.

Stay out of my state with this nonsense. Pocono causes nothing but trouble for me.

I can see Uranus from here
What's up with non profit groups sponsoring a race? I thought the same thing when the NC education lottery sponsored a race. Seems a bit odd that donated money is going to this event. I can't understand how this benefits the red cross.

When was the last time you've seen either Pocono race sponsored by anyone? It's been atleast 10 years

Plus it says "Sunoco" before it says "Red Cross". My guess is Sunoco has partnered with the Red Cross a way that benefits both :)

Pulling for Gordon...but...would love to JPM get his oval victory here. I LOVE POCONO !!!:churn::cool::churn:

Have a delivery in Scranton Pa for monday...already there. Was thinking of stopping for the race since I had time and it was on the way. Got caught in it's traffic today and changed my mind...just wanted away from traffic. That's my biggest deterrent in going to any kind of "event"...I hate traffic, lines and crowds.:p but...love my NASCAR :buttrock: I'll still fight the crowds for the short tracks that allow me to see the whole race though.

Denny Hamlin driving with a heavy heart this weekend.....

Condolences go out to Denny Hamlin and his family in the passing of his grandma. Thelma Clark, 91, of Tampa, FL passed away Friday, July 31.

Then I will be very glad to see Denny win this one.

And if he can bump JJ out again it will be even more sweet. ;)
