I just heard about this and figured I'd post some info on it here for anyone interested. From the Howard section at sirius.com...

This weekend Howard 101 will broadcast a Paul McCartney special featuring this week's latest interview, plus highlights of Stern’s first McCartney interview from 2001.

TUNE IN: January 17 at 8 am and 8 pm ET, and on January 18 at 11 pm ET

I have never heard the 2001 interview, so I'll be tuning in.

I wonder why it's just an hour, with "highlights from the 2001 interview". Why not a longer show with the entire 2001 interview and the new one. Could even throw in the Beatles/wings parodies and any other bits that are Beatle-related (Pete Best, Ringo, etc.). Scheduled on a "Howard" station over the weekend could have allowed for more time. Hell, they gave much more time to Artie's meltdown/fight last year (played all weekend on 101).

One strange thing about the latest visit is that the show rundown on howardstern.com didn't contain any pictures of Paul, or even the "fake" guitar.

How do you know it's only an hour long? Did Howard say this on Thursday or something? Or in a commercial maybe? I learned about the special via a live commercial read by Mad Dog today.

The 2001 interview was great. The only bad part of it was the douche chill moment when Harvey Weinstein called into the show to make Howard play Paul's latest single. Other than that, it was a total home run...grand slam even.
