I'm sorry, but I found this interview so boring, I had to tune out. Maybe it's because I was born over ten years after Woodstock, but the guy wasn't that compelling to me.

I'm curious what you guys thought.

What happened? I heard he was being a dick to Howard? Did Howard take a real call today after the interview where the caller blasted Stills?

I don't know why they had a hard-on for this guy. Who gives a shit about him.

I love CSN&Y but Stills was sort of a dick today, he really didn't seem like he wanted to be there, also I thought he sounded horrible when he sang. Too bad it could have been a great guest, howard tried to get him going but Stills shut him down.

Why have that old irrelevant fuck on the show anyway? Does anyone under 50 even give a shit about him?

What a stupid comment.

Artimus Pyle, by your own standards, is an old irrelevant fuck, but the interview he did with Howard was great because Artimus had great stories to tell. Paul McCartney is a pretty old irrelevant fuck, but the first time he was on the show his interview was amazing.

I'm under 50, and although I can't say that I give a shit about Stephen Stills, I'm always willing to give a listen to what someone might have to say about their life or career, regardless of their age.

Paul McCartney ain't irrelevant and the difference is he's willing to have fun with the interview and Stills wasn't.

You're changing the specs of what you wrote, that's very different than what you wrote originally.

By the way, even if someone isn't willing to "have fun" with an interview, it can still make for an interesting interview. That's where the interviewer gets to earn their money. I've always heard Gary, especially on the Wrap Up Show, say that Howard can make anyone interesting.

Haven't heard the show yet (it awaits on my iPod for after work) but I remember a while back Stills was a guest on Alex Bennett's show (Sirius Left channel) and I couldn't believe how dull and monotone he sounded, like something was wrong with him. I remember at the time thinking he may have had brain damage due to previous drug abuse. I was so upset by this I immediately did a few bongloads.
