I noticed a volume level indicator now, and also a link to SFN from the player when on 100. Interesting. Is there a deal worked out here?

So far, so good. Lost them again this morning, but have closed and re-opened StarPlay a number of times this afternoon and all presets have remained.

Yeah, only when running it from the desktop. I moved the install exe to another directory and it ran just fine without opening starplayr

I am warning everyone now... this next release will wipe out your presets.

It was necessary to change to a better storage method. The presets will maintain now even if the channel is re-arranged in the lineup to a different channel number.

Only removed or renamed channels will disappear from the presets.

Here are the features/changes in the next release currently in test:

    - Option to Disable Minimize to tray
    - Get rid of activate on restore from tray (causes form flash)
    - Stop multiple copies from being open
    - Clear Presets when right clicking on set preset button
    - Store presets by service/name
    - Ch 118 fix (no audio every other attempt for HiQ subscribers)
    - Fix for no audio for some firewall/proxy users

Listening all night, stable and no crashes or audio issues yet. I like the toolbar little bubble that updates whats on. Nice feature. Also, the clear preset option is nice.

One feature suggestion. Is it possible to enable the preview of whats playing when hovering over a channel icon from the channel list like when its in the preset bar? It would be nice to see whats on channels before tuning to them if they are not in your presets. If this is not possible, that's fine, just a thought. :)

    Keep up the great work.

StarPlayr2 for Mac reached its end of life cycle. StarLight alpha for Mac is now available at StarPlayr.com.

StarPlayr 3.0 for Mac will return in 2009.

I just want to say you guys certainly support your product. I wish Sirius XM would take a que from you guys in supporting sat radio.

Thanks for all you do and for participating here on the forum.

I was curious... what is the proper way to update starplayr on windows XP? Do I need to uninstall the application first? Do I just go back to the install page on the starplayr website and hit install again?

    thanks

Unless you have a very old version, it will automatically update when updates are available.

Otherwise, uninstall, go back to the web page and re-install.

Well, not quite automatically. Close and reopen the app, and then you'll be prompted to update. :)

    Just something I found

I muted the player today, then I put the volume up and the sound came out however it still showed it as muted (it was the red unmute button) I had to click the unmute button to change it back to regular mute.

Just a little glitch nothing major

    Great work!

Client version is no longer supported

When I started my player this morning I got this message: "Client version no longer supported you must upgrade". No upgrade window opened. How can I upgrade?
