NASCAR made the early morning news due to that guy Jesse screwing up the Star Spangled Banner. They didn't talk about the chase or the winner, just the screw up.


Well.....at least NASCAR made the news huh :Smiley_wink:

I didn't get a chance to watch the SSB. I was switching back and forth during the Steelers game and missed that. I'd much rather that they have the SSB be instrumental anyway. Many of these singers tend to try to put their own signature on that song and it does nothing more than ruin the moment IMO. What track is that where that guy play the trumpet? It that in Phoenix? That guy's amazing! I DVR'd the race so I'll have to go back and watch it.

It must be my fault... it's the first time I've ever actually watched some of what happens before a NASCAR event... and the singer goes and messes up! :idunno:

A fella on Late Shift noted that the singer messed up the fly-over too. There was no fly-over. Those pilots have it timed to pass over right when the singer is done. So I guess the timing was messed up (unless there was another reason).

If that's the case....boy, that's a LOT of money blown right there.
