Sportster 5 instant replay question

Hi,

I just got a Sportster 5 up in Canada. I used to have a Starmate 1, so I am new to being able to record.

I love the 60 minute PVR-like instant replay.

I'm just curious, and I did not see anything about it in the manual. When it records songs into memory, is there any way to "reserve" that memory and keep the song there until I choose to delete it? Or will it constantly just write over everything in real-time. In other words, can I keep a song on there indefinitely? (until I choose to delete it)

Thanks!
Mark

Like a Tivo it is just recording a buffer, once you change channels or turn it off you loose what you recoderd.

You can't record anything with the Sportster 5.

Too bad they didn't include the ability save some songs like Delphi did on the ExpressRC. You can save up to 10 favorite songs and play them back whenever you want. Though if you wanted a talk segment to be saved you'd still be out of luck even on the ExpressRC.
