SPEED Adds Johnny Benson To Truck Series Telecasts

Benson will join Rick Allen and Phil Parsons on the dates where regular analyst Michael Waltrip has a Sprint Cup Series conflict.

The first race for Benson with SPEED will be this Saturday night in Iowa. His remaining races will be Gateway in St. Louis on Sept. 12 and Las Vegas on Sept. 26.

Great to here IMO. He took a hell of a hit and it'll be good to see him back, even if it's not behind the wheel. :yesshake:

I didn't see anything about that. I think that he was on Trading Paint yesterday but I did not hear the interview. I looked on his web site and saw nothing there either. I'd venture to guess since he had just lost his ride the week before his accident, I doubt anyone signed him after the wreck.

I agree. He seems like a 'class act'. Get him, Schrader, & Labonte together to share a ride. When Martin decides to retire, move him over there too!
