After the rant on Friday , I think Bubba is done with Sirius XM , and his 10 am to 2 pm deal that he mentioned could be internet only but who the hell knows.

I'm thinking Yes at this point. If they made it through friday and all the bad stuff on air that was said, and still came back monday and had talks over the weekend, I'm thinknig they will try to reach an agreement.

But would you be pissed if you had to go through what he went through.

Ahhh they gave this guy a job when he had no job. He then USED sirius and Stern to gain popularity and now he's whoring himself to the same people that wouldn't pay him a DIME and now he's attacking sirius? He should be doing the Sirius show for NOTHING cause that's where he'd be if they didn't sign him in the first place!

I can't WAIT to hear the show 4 seconds after his wife leaves his fat ass with half his money. THAT'LL be the day I tune into that nonsense.

Bubba will be gone off of terr radio about 8 seconds after he leaves sirius.

They are ONLY picking him up and dealing with him cause it's a kick in the nads to sirius and that's all folks.

Based on the current state of radio, I don't think it would have been long until someone came along and gave Bubba a show had Sirius not signed him. Doing radio ain't easy, and Bubba has been doing it for quite a while. He was fired for Clear Channel/FCC nonsense, but was still #1 in Tampa, something he reclaimed just a few months after returning to the air there.

Just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean he has no talent or value.

Canada Eh!
I like him and I want him to come back badly. I just don't know if SiriusXM really wants to resign them at this point. His rants are entertaining but don't know if going of on Friday then again today is helping the situation.
Though everything he's said is true IMO.

"Just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean he has no talent or value. "

Tell that to Opie and Anthony who's show is better than bubba's (in my opinion) and have ZERO competition on FM and still got the axe.

Well, zero competition isn't the same as having ratings. But that being said, I don't disagree with you. I don't have the hatred that most folks here seem to have for whatever show they hate (be it O&A, Howard, or whoever) - I'm just saying that anyone can get the axe at any time, for whatever reason. Talent isn't always the reason. Ratings also aren't always the whole story.
