AT&T issues official statement on SlingPlayer's 3G blackout for iPhone

There is a JB app, VOIPover3G, that allegedly will "trick" the WiFi into thinking that it's over 3G. If that's the case, SlingPlayer should work over 3G.

Yup it works great over 3G.

I found a better JB app for tricking Slingplayer into utilizing 3G over WiFi. It's called TrickerThreeG. I like it better than VOIPOver3G because no modifications are required. you just d/l and install the app and voila! Start slinging over 3G.
