Was Fine Tuning an XM channel? When and why was it replaced?

This one's pretty good, but I like the older songs much more than the newer ones.

Yes it was and it was replaced during the big change in November.

While this had some fine tuning moments for the most part it didn't come off as the Fine Tuning channel on XM. I can tell it is a very customized station though and the creator has spent a lot of time fine tuning it to his taste. Overall I liked it for what it is, but I'd have to deduct a star or two for the description for as much as I listened to Fine Tuning on XM the comparison doesn't cut it.

I will give it 3 stars!

I say 3.5 out of 5 stars even though this is a replacement for it , it still doesnt recreate the old days.

True , I was just giving it a half point because it had some stuff that I liked about it but didnt give it a 4.

Good. But not 'XM Fine Tuning' good. I remember listening to 'Hand of Grandfather' on XM when Fine Tuning was still in existence. That's the first thing that came to mind when I opened this thread.
