I'm glad you like it Madison. I gotta say I learned alot about the history of New Orleans music in the creation of this station.

I didn't figure this would be the kind of station that people (even myself) would listen to for hours and hours at a time, so I set it to play more favorites (hits songs). I find it provides a great introduction to all the great music made by New Orleans musicians, particularly during the 1950's and 1960's.

I shied away from putting very many jazz musicians. That could fill up a seperate station, I'm sure. Did include Louis Armstrong, Pete Fountain, and Al Hirt.

I love the piano being played on all these records. A kind of sound that's unique to this city.

Iko Iko, and Hey Pocky Way ... :D

Yeah I enjoyed this one a good bit. I was looking for Pat O'Briens. LOL

I appreciated the light sprinkling of Jazz, though I do like New Orleans Style Jazz like most Jazz it starts to get on my nerves after awhile. Overall it is a great blend of music.

This one won't make it to my G2, but I have saved it as a favorite for sure!

I didn't get a chance to listen to this one this week (Shame on me!). I'm gonna try to fit it in sometime next week with the other ones because it sounds so unique.
