When the update happened, my SL2 lost a few channels of replays.

I suppose that it makes sense, but what a drag.

I see that there are changes in the library of saved tunes too, but haven't had time to see if the songs are deleted, or just the categories of channels that are gone. Since the genre still exists, I hope it only deleted the reference category.

Patience. . . . .

Sad how quickly they can force our units to dump music at their whim...

I miss my S50.

I miss my S50.

This is the reason I LOVE (literally, not the figurative Sirius `love') using my Xitel `Record from your stereo to your computer' software. I just record individual songs from replays onto my computer, convert them to MP3 files, and then just move them back onto my micro card. I'm currently using windows media player for this.

Takes a little longer than just loving songs from replays (as we used to be able to do with those S50's), but it accomplishes the exact same thing. Plus, when (not IF) your S50, SL100, and/or S2 crashes, you won't lose your music.

16 GB micro card - Here I come!

It's just really nice to have fresh tunes that aren't in my permanent collection.
