SL100 Shut-down

My stilletto 100 shuts down every 4 hours on the dot if no keys are pressed. It is in a Car Dock, plugged in at home and I keep the big battery connected to it. This has been happening for several months and I've gotten used to it, but would like to see:

-if anyone has an idea why this happens, a setting or something I might change

-if I use the stilletto as a home unit, should I leave a battery in it or any other tips for setup/use

Hi TIA...

I remember when I first bought my Stiletto 100, it used to shut off after four hours in the car dock. Then they came out with a firmware update that fixed that. It would stay on forever after that...

Check your firmware and make sure it's up to date. Hopefully that will help...

There is a setting on the SL2 under dock for 'auto-shutdown' after 4 hours .... the SL100 may be simular.
