Hi folks!

Just curious why the SiriusXM Canada forum was moved inside the "Music" section? Seems a little out of place to me since the Canadian content is of all types.

I decided to try to change the forum around a bit, doing a little tweeking.

I understand that SiriusXM Canada is more than Music, but for now that's where it will be.

Good job noticing. ;)

I noticed that you mentioned XM on the forum.

My name is Jenny, and I work for an agency on behalf of XM Canada and thought you and your readers may be interested in this Offer:

With the purchase of an XMp3 portable satellite radio you will receive a $50 service credit and a free SD card.

To check this out go to: XM on XMp3

This looks like a legit offer to me for XM in Canada!

Be careful using that spam can, Hormel has been known to sue folks for using their trademark, just ask Spam Arrest! :)

Well if it wasn't a legit XM canada offer we would delete it, but we are okay with it and do not feel it is spam.

It is a legit XM Canada offer. The poster obviously is in some way involved with the promotion of this offer and posted this for that sole purpose. It may be spam but personally, if the mood strikes me, spam can be tasty.

Hahaha. Are you thinking about the XMP3? It's really cool for recording music blocks. As for talk blocks the SL2 is a lot better IMO.

I was thinking about it and almost bought it ... then Nov 12th happened. Now there isn't really a point as my SL2 does the same thing (except for the 5 channel thing). If they get their accounting system sorted out where if my SL2 dies I could replace it with an XMP3 ... then I would certainly consider it.

If they don't I may get one for my wife and attach an XM Lifetime to it but I will not think about that until July. I certainly don't want to have a Lifetime sub started on an AirWare.

I don't really have a problem with recording talk off the NASCAR Channel on my XMP3. The only thing I don't care for is that if you want to switch from recorded to live, & then go back to what you recorded, it doesn't start where you left off. You have to search for where you left off. PITA...

Plus, it doesn't give you the option to schedule a recording on M-F. I had to set up a recording that recordeds every day of the week, so I have to delete the Sat-Sun shows...:worried:

It's a great radio & I'd buy another if I could...:)
