Since Mega Hits is no more you made the right decision :agree:
Wow, tell me about it! JEEZ!
The biggest problem I have with my new Lynx was the cost. I don't know why they don't just GIVE the radio's away for a 2 or 3 year membership. Paying over 300 dollars is what really makes me mad.
I ejoy and use most of the features. And DAB I use the Pause button a lot. Actually what I hate now is that it will only pause for 30 minutes. My stiletto paused what seemed like hours.
Yeah, I found the cost very prohibitive and I really don't see the Lynx being a real big seller. I also feel the once again Sirius XM fumbled the ball with this device.
I can see the pause feature as important, but honestly there is just nothing on sat radio that I am too worried about missing should it get interrupted. That is me though!
LOL I'm sorry. But I am amused.
Why not go back to the Express RC you had earlier and loved? Don't you have the SkyDock right now?
It doesn't take much to amuse you it seems! I mean you have cables and adapters strung out all over your home. LOL
The Express RC is out at the camp doing duty there, I am still waiting on SiriusXM to deactive it, its been 2 years. I like all in one solutions these days and this current setup gives me that. Skydock sold for $40 bucks and actually covered the cost of this new tuner and because it interfaces directly with the head unit the sound is a bit better too vs and aux input. Portability is nice, but there is something about getting in your vehicle and just firing up the engine and BAM there is SiriusXM on your radio.
Also while I loved the Skydock solution, that adapter often was in the way and while I didn't find it so, others would get in my vehicle and say.. that is an eye soar. Not that I care about what others think as you well know. LOL
To Shabs point though, it seems that SiriusXM with their own devices is heading backwards instead of forward. Though in my experience with this new tuner being smaller, not requiring a translater that is a good move towards supporting after market radios.
