What the hell? Look, I really don't care.

My company makes the satellite antenna for the XM and Sirius satellites, and if I ahve a labor dispute with my company, I am certainly not flying to New York to yell at Mel or writing to Howard.

I have a novel idea:
Quit.
Get a New Job.
Deal with own problems in your own country.

I love it how the whole world hates us, and all of these world leaders are verbally kicking us when we are down. I love how we lost so many lives freeing Korea, yet during a recent a recent poll, 1/3 of S. Koreans view us as their biggest enemy.

Yet, when they have a problem or need something, they're on the red-eye to New York.

Go Home!

Your company is not sirius. Your company is an electronics company that made a bid to sell sirius radios, and got the contract. If they did so unethically, then deal with them, and leave us alone. We have our own problems in case you didn't notice.

And if the hours are so long and the pay is so bad.. quit.

For those of you wondering what the OP is talking about (it sounds like the rant of a lunatic) here are links to news articles:

The Dark Side of Sirius Satellite Radio - Zibb.com
The Dark Side of Sirius Satellite Radio

Group claims sweatshop conditions at Sirius radio factory - Orbitcast

Rant of a lunatic? You are way too kind.

I'm anxiously awaiting their press conference. I wonder if their letter to Howard will help? Maybe they should start a world series boycott.

Well with no link and/or reference it just sounds like a rant of a lunatic. You provided nothing other than opinion and, from what I could tell, this feeling came from nowhere. It took some searching to realize that this is actually an issue and not just a figment of your imagination.

Fair enough.

I thought it was discussed in many other threads, but that was a different forum.

Nope, never saw it before. I am glad you posted it. Did you check out the second link I posted? It just goes into more detail of what the issues are and what the press conference will be on.

Having read your link...

The problem is with Kiryung or whoever. I don't understand the ties with sirius. It's like if goodyear tire workers striked at Ford.

So they are fighting sweatshop conditions, but also protesting Sirius moving the work to China. So what do they want: Tough work for little pay, or let the Chinese do it? They are not Sirius employees. what do they think Sirius is going to do for them.

Ahhh whyatever.. I'm just in a pissy mood today and this irked me.

This is no different than any cheap product we buy from walmart. Do you really think someone making living wages can assemble what you buy for $4.98?
