What In the world happen to Sirius I never liked XM music programs but love Sirius I spent well over 600 bucks on my Jeep upgraded to a RB1 Navigation with the factory built in Sirius and for three years and loved it BUT now Sirius dumped their music programs and now if you go to something like xm 50 and Sirius 50 they are playing the same thing ands the 60s channel I want to just blow it up It just as XM has always been really bad I wish the merger never happen I knew they would screw it up but this is really bad I just gave up today and went back to listening to cds looks like I will be getting a 4 gig MP3 player and make my own play list at lest It will be much better then what they did also have filed a complaint report to the FCC for allowing
This mess to happen NO WOUNDER THE STOCK IS AT .27
My bet is this time next year there will be no satellite radio because the merger killed it
THANKS MEL

I think that the sports play-by-play and Howard Stern/Opie & Anthony will keep Sirius-XM going for quite a while longer.

I love the deeper playlists....i love good music, and i think that is what they are playing for the most part....out of 130 channels (or however many they have) you'd think there would be something good on at any given moment!

It's only been 3 months since the merger was finalized. I think everything takes time and the changes we've seen last week are good for the most part and will prove successful for the newly combined company.

Well enjoy your homemade playlist, been there and done that, not going back. I'd go to Slacker first. You are certainly free to your opinion but I whole-heartedly disagree, I think the changes were great and I am very much so enjoying the fresh playlist. Those stale playlist that Sirius has been playing for months and months is what was terrible. This has been like a breath of fresh air and a much need one at that.

I would try to say I agree with you, but that post is completely illegible. I'm even inclined to think this post is a joke; nobody could post like this without careful planning. I mean c'mon dude, "Perry Como" is the only thing you actually spelled correctly. Punctuation and spell check (not to mention schooling > 7th grade) is your friend.

The thing I'm really hating is when they play a song by a artist on one channel when they have a dedicated channel. AC/DC right now on Octane.

I am not sure if it is because the merged and new channels or not,but I am really liking Sirius again. How long before i get sick of it again i don't know. It is not perfect, i have my complaints on things . Last year I have hardly listened to Sirius and used my iPod instead. If it wasn't for my lifetime plan I would have canceled a long time ago because of stale playlists!

I agree. I've had Sirius for some time now and I came real close a few times canceling and getting XM for the deeper cuts. Once the merger talk started I held off and I'm glad I did. Deep Tracks is one example of the stations I'm thrilled to have.

well siruis closed today at 12 cents a share . Jim Grammer is now saying the satellite radio will be gone this time next year the merger was one big bust
Today I was playing around with a slacker G2 this thing is nice and think it will replace satellite radio the merger was one big mistake Thanks to Mel K

I will waite till after the holidays and if siruis is still messed up I will be picking up a slacker G2
and dump satellite for the slacker who knows siruis stock might be at 4 cents by then

I like the deeper playlists , and the expansion of the music channels on Sirius , but I would not agree with Kramer that satellite radio will be gone by next year , I would hope they hang on , but right now it is a crap shoot.

I'm enjoying the new channel programming and added playlists. Much more then I ever have. Too bad things are looking bleak. If this was the shape Sirius was in since the start (music philosphy wise) they might be a bit farther ahead.

50s on 5 is NOTHING like sirius gold sirius =gold was 100% better than xms 50s
will be getting a slacker G2 and find something as good as sirius gold was
worte a letter to Mel K anout how pisseed I was with this lame line up
I spent way over 700.00 bucks for a factroy built in system and now it is getting to be useless
and as tonight the stock is at 12 cents I wonder how much longer sirius has before it goes belly up
I had xm first but thierdeep play listr drove me nuts so I dumped XM for sirius and now I am back to XMs lame playlist
IF any thing XM should have went belly up and saved sirius the headack
Just like my old job at DHL thet just had to merge with airbone witch had a lot of red ink so what happens three years later the whole thing goes out of busness by the end of the year DHL will be gone and I feal sirius is going down the same road

Incredibly true. As many have already talked about, the stale playlist is the reason I canceled Sirius. Xm was a far better music service and you got a HUGE variety of music. The Sirius SUBS are getting more variety now since the previous playlist on Sirius was old and stale. XM subs werent so lucky since we already had variety and now that some channels were replaced(Lucy and Fred) with narrow FM like playlists we arent too happy. Different strokes, but having come from Sirius I can honestly tell you that they suck musically.
