Sirius Internet Radio Down? (6/8/09)

Is anyone else having problems accessing the Sirius Internet player this morning? I've been trying to log in for the past two hours and can't get in. I keep getting "Sirius Internet Radio is temporarily unavailable" messages.

Hmmm....down for a period of time on the same day as Apple's WWDC....hmm.....

I pay for the HQ stream, and can't even get past the login dialog to try and access it. So, these problems don't seem to be limited to one specific stream.

Now, I'm getting some error about an "upstream response". (I didn't capture the exact error.)

Very strange. I've been listening since I posted the last message. No drop-outs or anything. All is good on my end... :confused:

No announcement at the WWDC about a SIRIUS XM app. OS 3.0 is due out June 17th, so maybe no release until NEXT week?

Technically, all apps being submitted would have to be 3.0 compatible, so that's not really an issue. They could release it anytime they please. This sounds like a precursor to a possible release.

I haven't checked recently but mine didn't work at 7:30 when I got into work and still wasn't working at 4:00 when I left.

It's 9:00 PM (EST) and it's been down all day. I started trying to log in around 7:30 AM. I was able to get in around 4:30 PM, but that's it. It wasn't working on my work PC and it's still not working on my home PC.

Hate to keep posting, but for those of you still having problems, try using a different browser. I just tried logging in via Firefox and it worked. IE still doesn't work. It just hangs when you click on the Launch Player button.
