Sirius in-dash display problem

I just had my JVC KW-XG500 head unit installed along with the Sirius SCC1 Tuner and JVC Interface Adapter. I love the look and sound quality but I am having one problem involving the display of the song title.

When I go to the display it shows the song title, scrolls, and then displays "000000". Once a new song comes on it will show me the title, but then do the same. It is weird because if I am displaying the artist it will continuously scroll.

It isn't that big of a deal but I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a problem like this? I've tried changing some settings but have had no luck. Thanks.

I have a similar setup but with the JVC Arsenal KDA805 head unit. My setup displays the titles correctly.

Sounds like it could be a communication problem from the SCC1 to the head unit.

Try resetting the SCC1 and interface adapter by pulling power and then restoring it.

Huh, that is strange. I would look through the JVC manual and see if there are display settings that you can change or alter. It sounds like the scrolling function is what causes this to happen. Maybe changing that will change things for you.
