The guy on espn was saying her and Jr. have something in common.....they hardly ever win. :p

Dear God I wish I could listen online to SNR.

ESPN sucks!!!!!!! The guy on late afternoons is the WORST show host I've EVER listened to. (And I've heard the worst too.) How did this extremely BORING scum get a job with espn? I guess he's got some dirt on somebody sleeping with somebody.

Update: His name is Doug Gottlieb. And he is TERRIBLE. (I have to rethink my stance with regards to TMD now. LOL)

This is certainly the hot topic of the day on 128. Lot's of favorable and unfavorable opinions of her. She didn't pay her dues, blah, blah blah. Sure they are others with far more experience than her but sometimes it's not about that, Paul Menard comes to mind. Money talks. :yesshake:

Hamilton Jr., jealous much? For a guy that says that he really doesn't know anything about her, he sure talks like he has awful strong opinions about her.

I'm willing to see how she does after a year or so here before I pass judgment. As for paying dues, you're right money talks but unless your Dad is paying the bills (paul ;) ) this is a performance sport. In a couple years if she isn't putting the numbers up she won't be here forever.
I'm just going to wait and see how she does and try to ignore the hundereds of articles and talk show discussions about it until Feb

That's why I thought a lot of Jr. when he left DEI. I know he's got more money than the government and all, but he could have just stayed at DEI and rode out his career. I respect him for making the move.

Yup, you don't get anywhere unless you take a chance.

I don't know. She's a cash cow, just like my driver #88. He hasn't been exactly been lighting up the track much over the past couple of seasons yet his hauler is still generating long lines. Can you imagine the amount of money she'll generate? I'd imagine that the lines at her souvenir hauler will be longer than the #88 and the Digger hauler combined. Yes, people love that little rat!

Thats true but she's more of an 'outsider' and while I think she'll be given a chance by a lot of fans I doubt they'll let poor performance slide for 2 or 3 seasons from an 'outsider'
Again, this is just my opinion. And who knows? maybe she'll do well.

At that point she'll possibly become an alsoran like 3/4 field and most nobody will care anymore.

I'm hearing all the HUGE amounts of money she wants per race.

If I'm her PR person I would tell her to give half or more to a worthy charity. Like disabled vets or women's breast cancer....something like that.

It will probably remind me of the days of Alan Kulwicki's Hooter sponsorship. There weren't as many souvenir haulers back in those days but I remember that one. :twitch:

I'd be real reluctant to believe everything that you hear in regards to her. She hasn't released any statements since well before the end of the IRL season and I have a feeling that many stories that we are hearing are nothing more than stories. I highly doubt that anyone that is in negotiations on one side or the other for her is releasing any true numbers. They'd be a fool if that were the case.

She is a brat and I expect she will try to boss hog her way to show that she will not be pushed around because she is a girl. I bet Shrub is glad she will be in the sport. No he will not be know as the cry baby.

BTW I can call her that as I am a chick :Smiley_wink:

I agree with that. What I'm thinking though is that nobody will want to race her hard. They know all the media will be watching like a hawk and will not want to go through the PR headache that might come from it.
