This is a weight loss contest just for fun for anyone who's interested. It has two parts and you can do either one or both. Part 1 is a contest to see who can lose the most weight as a percentage of their starting body weight. Part 2 is simply setting your weight loss goal and reporting in on your progress. The deadline is Memorial Day, the official start of summer here in the US: May 30, 2011.
To participate in part 1, just weigh yourself this weekend and post it online by Monday morning. We'll do weigh-ins every Monday and I can keep a little chart showing who's in the weight loss lead. Again, it goes by percentage, so it's a level playing field. Whoever has lost the greatest percentage on Monday, May 30, 2011 wins.
To participate in part 2, just weigh yourself this weekend and post your weight and ultimate goal by Monday. Then report your progress every Monday. The only competition is yourself and the goal you set. I'll keep a chart as well. If you hit your goal and maintain it, you'll win a special no-prize.
